About JB

My wife, Roya, and I got married on March 28, 2010. We were lucky enough to work with a wonderful photographer who gave us the gift of images we will cherish the rest of our lives.

Similarly, my hope is that couples with whom I collaborate will consider the images we create together to be a family heirloom.

To that end, I combine a youthful energy with a wealth of experience, including five years shooting weddings, regular assignments with The New York Times, and a Fulbright Fellowship to Kenya for documentary photography.
